BCM2017 Global Pitching and Application Form

1. Purpose : Opportunity to have networking investment pitching chances for broadcasting contents 

                        to international and domestic broadcasters, investor, buyers and sellers.

2. Date / Place

  ‣ Date : May 10(Wed) ~ 11(Thurs) 14:00 ~ 17:00, 2017

  ‣ Place : BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1, Pitching Lounge of Hall 2

3. Applicants

  ‣ Both overseas and Korean production company with at least 1 year experience in contents planning, producing

       and sales.

4. Applicants’ Contents Genre Categories

  ‣ Drama, Animation, Movie, Documentary, Mobile·Web Contents, UHD Contents (6 categories)

5. Panel of Judges

  ‣ Ten members of BCM investment advisories, production association and officials-in-charge

6. Evaluation Method and Selection

  ‣ Online Evaluation : Selecting of each one contents from top of 6 categories and selecting of the rest

      of 14 contents according to high score.

7. Procedure

Step 1.  Download the application form

Step 2.  Check the application guidelines, evaluation and selection process

Step 3.  Submit application form, letter of introduction, copy of business license certificate and others

            (such as project presentation) to BCM office via registered post or email

Step 4.  Closing of application deadline and screenings conducted by judge panels. Selected applicants are posted

             at BCM website www.ibcm.tv and will be contacted individually.

Step 5.  Submission of English presentation materials → Distribution of booket in English and Korean/

             Simultaneous interpretation is available at pitching

Step 6.  Submission of Final Report

3. Documents for Submission :

(1) One producer application form

(2) One self-introduction of producer

(3) One copy of business license

(4) One contents plan (produced in power point/MS power point)

  ‣ Including plan of contents manufacture, operating plan of manpower, plan of public relation, detailed

       budget plan etc.

  ‣ Portfolio, promo video etc. is available to be attached (within size of 20MB)

※ When producers of foreign application register, you should register plan of contents as power point in English. After producers of domestic application submit plan of contents in Korean, if you are selected at evaluation, you should submit extra power point in English before the event.

4. Support Plan for Selected Producer

 ‣Accommodations/Transportation : Supporting the round-trip fare (economy class KTX) and accommodations(choosing one day out of May 10(Wed)~11(Thurs)/ breakfast included) for one presenter of selected producers of domestic on evaluation. For one presenter of foreign producers, supporting accommodations(choosing one day out of May 10(Wed)~11(Thurs)/ breakfast included).

  ‣ Priority attendance of BCM Official Event

  ‣ Contents Data in Korean/English of selected producer on evaluation → Daily News of BCM, be scheduled

       portable map

  ‣ Simultaneous interpretation available in Korean/English/Chinese
