❏ Title : 'Busan Content Market 2020' Goes Fully Online
The City of Busan is set to host the 'Busan Content Market (BCM) 2020' entirely online from November 11 to December 18. This marks a continuous 38-day event involving approximately 300 companies from about 30 countries, asserting BCM’s status as Asia's leading content market. This year's theme, 'Post-COVID-19, Connect the World with Content,' encompasses a range of programs including the BCM Market, BCM Conference, and BCM Funding.
In response to the unprecedented challenges posed by COVID-19, the Busan Content Market Organizing Committee and the city have transitioned this year’s market to a fully online platform. The market is designed to maximize the benefits of digital engagement, offering access to all programs via the BCM website (IBCM).
The BCM Market will function as an 'Online Virtual Exhibition' until December 18, featuring approximately 300 companies divided into three pavilions: the Busan Content Industry Pavilion, K-Content Support Pavilion, and K-Content Exhibition Pavilion. This virtual format allows participants to explore company profiles and stream a variety of content in real-time, such as dramas, documentaries, animations, characters, films, and new media, mimicking the interactive experience of an in-person exhibition.
Additionally, the BCM Conference will feature 15 sessions, leveraging video conferencing technology to facilitate presentations and discussions by domestic and international experts. This conference aims to serve as a vital forum for exploring future directions and survival strategies for the media market in the platform-driven era prompted by the pandemic.
Furthermore, BCM Funding will be conducted live online, promising to yield substantial business outcomes by facilitating interactions and deals in real-time.
For further details and to participate in the Busan Content Market 2020, visitors can access all events and sessions through the official BCM website.
